Our retreats are for adults approaching psychedelics with intention. A discovery call followed by a medical and psychological screening lets us evaluate together whether this work is right for you at this point in your life. See the contraindications section on our Our approach page for the conditions that exclude participation on safety grounds.

Frequently asked questions
Eligibility
Yes. Many of our participants come to psychedelic work for the first time with us. What matters far more than prior experience is the quality of your preparation and your willingness to engage seriously with the process. We accompany you at every step.
Yes, this is possible. Each person submits their own application and goes through their own screening. We can also discuss together whether attending as a pair is the right choice for both of you at this time.
Psilocybin
Psilocybin is a naturally occurring compound found in certain mushrooms and truffles. Once ingested, it is converted to psilocin, which binds to serotonin receptors in the brain. It has been studied clinically since the 1950s and has been used in ceremonial traditions for millennia.
It depends on the jurisdiction. In the Netherlands, psilocybin truffles are legal. In Spain, personal possession for private use is decriminalised in certain contexts. Our retreats take place exclusively in settings where the practice we offer is legally permitted. In France, psilocybin remains classified as a controlled substance — see our Policy & Advocacy page for our position on this.
Since the 2000s, clinical research on psilocybin has undergone a significant renaissance. Studies published in NEJM, JAMA and other leading journals show promising results for treatment-resistant depression, end-of-life anxiety, PTSD, and certain addictions. See our Resources page for a curated selection of peer-reviewed studies.
Safety
Physiologically, psilocybin is considered one of the safest substances studied (very low toxicity, non-addictive). The main risks are psychological — destabilisation in vulnerable individuals, difficult experiences in an inadequate setting. Our rigorous screening, our framework of accompaniment, and our trained team are designed to minimise these risks.
No. Psilocybin is not physically or psychologically addictive. On the contrary, repeated use over short intervals rapidly loses intensity (fast tolerance build-up), which naturally discourages frequent consumption.
Some medications are incompatible — notably lithium and MAOIs, due to serious medical risks. SSRIs and SNRIs are not strictly contraindicated but can substantially dampen the therapeutic effect; a gradual taper coordinated with your prescribing doctor is usually needed. We evaluate your medical situation case by case during the screening.
Difficult experiences are part of psychedelic work. Our team is trained to accompany them with presence, without rushing, without drama. You are never alone during the ceremony. Often, these moments contain the deepest openings — provided they are well held. The integration that follows helps make sense of what arose.
The effects of psilocybin dissipate within 6–8 hours. However, we strongly recommend not driving on the day of the ceremony nor the following day — fatigue, ongoing integration, heightened sensitivity. Plan a restful return journey, ideally with a small margin afterwards before resuming demanding tasks.
The retreat
Seven days. The structure includes arrival, preparation, two ceremonies separated by an integration day, expressive arts workshops, a closing circle and departure. See the indicative weekly schedule on this page.
In Spain and the Netherlands, in venues chosen for their stillness, their anchoring in nature, and their intimacy — secluded country homes, spaces held by hosts aligned with our approach.
Between six and twelve people. This deliberately intimate size allows us to accompany you individually throughout the process while still benefiting from the dynamics of group work.
Each ceremony begins with a collective preparation (intention, grounding, music). The dose is served in the early afternoon. The experience lasts 4–6 hours, lying down in a held space, accompanied by carefully chosen music. You remain in inner silence. The team is present throughout for anything you may need. The evening continues in silence or gentle sharing depending on what feels right.
Yes. All meals are prepared on site, plant-forward, organic where possible. Our cuisine is designed to support the work — light, nourishing, attuned to ceremony days. Special diets are accommodated.
Accompaniment & integration
Four monthly one-on-one integration calls following the retreat. This longer-arc work is what allows insights to settle into your daily life and produce lasting change.
Psychedelic work opens the ground; the body is what carries it through time. Somatic practices (movement, breath, touch, presence) anchor the openings in the nervous system and prevent everything from staying "in the head". They are an integral part of the process — before, during, and after the ceremonies.
Each participant signs a collective confidentiality agreement at the start of the retreat. Our facilitators are bound by professional secrecy. Medical data collected during screening is stored securely and in compliance with the GDPR. No information about your participation is shared without your explicit consent.
Registration & payment
The process begins with a discovery call (free, around 30 min) where we take time to meet. If there is mutual interest in going further, you complete a medical and psychological screening questionnaire. Once validated, you receive confirmation of your place and proceed with the deposit payment.
The fee varies depending on the venue, the season, and the specifics of the programme. It covers facilitation, accommodation, meals, the preparation kit and integration calls. The truffles themselves are purchased separately, for legal reasons — see the next question.
What you're paying for is not the substance itself, but the framework and accompaniment around it. Our team is composed of trained and experienced facilitators able to support a deep process over time — and to hold difficult moments with ethics and care when they arise. We also choose premium-quality venues and carefully prepared food, so the stay itself is as nourishing and supportive as possible. A solo psychedelic experience can be beautiful, but it doesn't replace the safety of a held container, the depth of months of preparation and integration, or the presence of trained people when difficulty arises.
Yes. Once your place is confirmed, we can set up an installment payment plan. We also reserve two places per retreat at a reduced rate, intended for people on low incomes or from socially marginalised communities. Please feel free to mention this during the discovery call.
For legal reasons, the truffles are not included in the retreat fee. Please plan for approximately €30 to be paid separately before the start of the retreat.
Cancellation terms are set out in our general conditions and discussed at confirmation. In the case of a major unforeseen circumstance on your side or ours, we always look for a fair solution — either by rescheduling to a later retreat, or by partial or full refund depending on the notice period.
